Dr. Leung has performed in world-renowned concert halls in North America, Europe, and Asia, such as New York Carnegie Hall, Boston Symphony Hall, Italy Giovanni Arvedi Auditorium, and Hong Kong Cultural Centre, etc. As a soloist, he has performed with famous orchestras such as the Collegium Musicum Hong Kong and the Boston University Baroque Orchestra and has received high acclaim.

Leung has also served as concertmaster of several orchestras, such as UMass Boston Orchestra, Boston University Symphony Orchestra, Collegium Musicum Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University Symphony Orchestra, etc. He is often invited to many chamber music festivals, including the Oberlin Conservatory of Music Baroque Performance Institute, Arianna Chamber Music Festival, etc. He also won third place in the 2018 Cremona International Violin Competition Open Group.

Leung graduated from the Boston University School of Music with a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) and Master of Music in Violin Performance (MM), and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance (BA) from the Hong Kong Baptist University School of Music. During his studies, he won the Roman and Melanie Totenberg String Scholarship to study for his DMA at Boston University. His violin teachers include the famous award-winning American Violin Professor Yuri Mazurkevich, and the Korean-American violinist, Leslie Ryang, Assistant Second Violin of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.

Leung served a violin teacher in the ADMS Violin Mentorship Program of Hong Kong Baptist University School of Music. He is currently working as orchestral violinist at Hong Kong Sinfonietta.
